Real Estate Attorney (5–10 Years Experience)
Residential & Commercial | Flexible Role Structure
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our growing practice. We are open to structuring the role in one of three distinct tracks, depending on experience, location, and professional goals.
This opportunity is well-suited for attorneys coming from larger firms, attorneys seeking greater autonomy and balance, or attorneys looking for a focused remote role.
Available Role Tracks
Track 1: Vermont-Based Practice
A full residential and commercial real estate role for a Vermont-based attorney who enjoys autonomy, closings, and strong professional relationships.
  • Review residential and commercial title searches
  • Draft title commitments and title opinions
  • Manage transactions from contract through closing
  • Conduct residential and commercial closings
  • Work closely with realtors, lenders, and affiliate partners
  • Participate in professional and relationship-based firm activities
Track 2: Relocation to Vermont
A full practice role for attorneys currently practicing in larger or urban markets who are ready for a change in pace and lifestyle—without sacrificing sophisticated legal work.
  • Substantive residential and commercial real estate matters
  • Title review, commitments, and opinions
  • Client-facing work and closings
  • Hybrid flexibility available following onboarding
Licensed in Vermont or licensed elsewhere and eligible to waive into Vermont.
Track 3: Remote Title Review & Oversight
A focused, remote role centered on high-level title work and quality control.
  • Review residential and commercial title searches
  • Prepare and oversee title commitments and opinions
  • Provide legal oversight of title delivery to vendors
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance
  • No closings, no client meetings, and no business development expectations
Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of real estate law experience
  • Licensed in Vermont or licensed in another state and eligible to waive into Vermont
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with the support of an experienced team
Hybrid or remote flexibility available following an initial training and orientation period.
